Channel 4 Brief

A three-minute film for Random Acts strand on Channel 4.

My Genre: Animation and Music with sound effects.

Storyline:

Life of a £5 note.

-Scene starts off with a £5 note. The Queen winks.

In this short animation we will see the life of a £5 note. It’s travel from hand-to-hand, pocket-to-pocket and till to till. Showing different people that touch, scrunch up and even look after the £5. Making people realise the short space of time owning the money. You see how quick money circulates all around and doesn’t stay with a person for too long.

In this short animation, we will travel with the £5.

See all it sees. From the horrors and hardships, to the love and friendships.

See what kind of people spend it quick and the people who tried to spare it.

This is my concept.

"Redesign the £1 coin to express global financial climate"

I re-did/edited this project. 

The Queen was too neat and didn't really represent much on my previous coin.

This time i distorted it. She's melting away.

Our financial climate is crumbling away, everything is raising prices but the money isn't there. This country sucking the money dry.

The colour change is an attempt to communicate the pound coin fading and looking dry.

This project was not easy at all, and i was beyond proud of the way my homemade tin ddnt fall apart and actually produced a baked cake in my desired font.

Overall - it was an achievement as baking isn't my strongest skill.

Theres too much!

I want to have Graduated successfully. Travelled, make money (different currencies, (enough that I don't struggle) and have my OWN house. Get married, have 4 beautiful children. I want to be able to say I started a career in photography and design. Hopefully do my photography business with my future husband. 

Meet more people, party, do some volunteer work in deprived countries.

Maybe do some illustrations for children's books, be an extra in a movie.

Work in the make up artistry business, model or work with famous inspirational photographers and models. 

Get work advertised big in the industry. 

Like Ed, I want to get flown out to work with people and get paiddddd!

Continue my growing collection of shoes.. 

And really just be happy!

Also I wanna be able to afford a real nice cruise with my husband on our 10year anniversary! 

Also i never want to forget where I'm from so regular visits to Jamaica and Philippines please!

Meet Me On the Corner Edit..

My cultural map, looking more of a map than my previous efforts. 

I added a title, enlarged the little illustrations, connected them with some arrows, showing me moving round, just like in the cartoons, and a start and finish.

My theme is still childlike illustration, montage, simple yet fairly busy, cartoon map.

Its a lil congested as the day itself was a very busy day! 

But the pictures remind me, it weren't all bad.. =)

My fourth project: We got given a checklist with the task to go around London checking each mission* off. With a list of 40 cultural places, a 'cultural treasure hunt' if you must. 

Overall it was sooo tiring but gave me a chance to trek around london learning where everything is, and what is available to me.
